How to Prepare
Please be aware that your notarization may be an acknowledgment, a jurat or a certification of a document copy. We can perform all types. It is up to you to find out from the document drafter what kind of notarization is involved. The paper will need to be complete with no blank gaps that could quite possibly be written in once the notarization is finished. Prudence tells you this is to prevent deceitful details being inserted afterwards.
One of the responsibilities of a notary is to be certain the participants are well aware and willing participants and not under coercion to sign. This will go a long way in making sure that the document that is signed will hold up in a court of law. All parties should always perform the application of his or her signature while being observed by the notary.
* The mobile notary is responsible to be sure that you established who you are. Usually an official state driver's license, government identification, armed forces i.d. or valid passport suffices. Try to be sure that your full name shows up the same on the i.d. as it does on the paper or document being signed.
** All bookings are reserved in 1hr increments, delays made by client may be subject to an additional fee of $10.00 per every additional 15 minutes. Cancellations are subject to a $10.00 cancellation fee if cancelled less than 6hrs of reservation.
